GRC stands for Governance, Risk and compliance. It is an Integrated approach to achieving an organization’s objectives by establishing effective policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting risk assessments, implementing internal controls, fostering a culture of compliance, continuous monitoring, and adapting to evolving regulations and emerging technologies.

GRC professionals are in high demand because modern threats such as cyberattacks and data breaches have increased the need for strong GRC strategies within all organizations to help mitigate these risks, and the growing volume of laws and regulations around data security, integrity, privacy, confidentiality and availability puts pressure on organizations to have a mature GRC function.

Upon completing this course you will get in depth understanding of governance structures, Risk assessment Methodologies and compliance frameworks.

You will identify cyber security risks and controls within an organizations IT infrastructure and learn how IT Auditors assess and report on the design and operating effectiveness of IT systems & processes.

You will learn the Regulatory requirements organizations must comply with and the frameworks they leverage to design and implement strong internal control programs to achieve their GRC objectives. You will also learn about Data Privacy best practices and related standards like GDPR.
